Ask how many movers are planned and whether equipment such as dollies, pads, straps, and tools is included.
Red Flags to Watch For
Be cautious when a company refuses to provide written terms, gives a vague quote without asking about the move, pressures you to pay immediately, changes its business name during the conversation, or cannot explain major fees. A professional mover should be able to explain the pricing structure in plain language.
Make the Final Decision
Choose the company whose service, communication, written terms, availability, and price fit the move you actually have. Save the estimate, confirmation, inventory, and important messages. Good preparation makes it much easier to resolve questions on moving day.
